What if I forget my user name or password?

It is easy to recover a forgotten password. Just go to and click on the “Forgot password” link. The password will be sent to the email address that you provided in your profile.

If you have forgotten your username, you’ll need to contact us by phone: (415) 641-1951.

How do I edit my profile?

In order to change your biography or contact information, login to your account using your username and password.


To change your art category, biography, personal photo, website, links (optional), artist statement (optional), click on the 'My Profile' button in your account and edit the text in the appropriate box.

Contact Information:

In order to change your name, address, phone, email and payment options, click on the 'My Contact Info' button in your account and edit the appropriate fields.

What forms of payment do you accept?

MesArt accepts payments for accounts by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), check or money order.

We have these payment options:

  • Monthly - credit card only
  • Quarterly - credit card only
  • Half-yearly - credit card/check/money order
  • Yearly - credit card/check/money order

Monthly and quarterly payments are charged automatically, receipts are sent by email.

Half-yearly and yearly payments: we’ll send you an email invoice 10 days before the payment due date.

To specify or change payment options for your account:

  • Log in to your MesArt account
  • Click on the 'My Contact Info' button
  • Complete the information about your credit card in the Payment Method area of the contact form
  • Click on the 'Continue' button.

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card will be charged when your account is activated. This means that you can open an account and take as long as you need to set up text and images without any cost to you. When you are ready for activation, notify us by clicking on the ‘Notify’ button in your account page. Activation means that your account becomes visible to the general public.

Monthly and quarterly payments are charged automatically. Receipts are sent by email.

Half-yearly and yearly payments: we’ll send you an email invoice 10 days before the due date.

What if I forget to send the payment before the due date?

If we haven’t received your payment by the due date, you account will be deactivated. We will maintain your deactivated (disabled) account for 15 days, after which time it will be converted to a free one-image Lobby account.

How do I get to view my site visitor statistics?

With your Artist Studio, Artist Gallery and Gallery account, you get ability to view your site visitor statistics. Our statistics function is powered by the award-winning free Google Analytics service. Here is how to set it up: Step-By-Step Instructions for Site Statistics.
