Biography

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Resides in the U.S. since December 23, 1974.  Presently resides in the San Francisco bay area, California since 1976.
Languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Portuguese.  Traveled extensively in South America, North America and Europe.
Education:
Undergraduate: National School of Foreign Languages
(Instituto del Profesorado Superior en Lenguas Vivas), Buenos Aires.
Medical Doctor, University of Buenos Aires.
Received instruction at the Atelier of Federico M�ller de Berg (prominent Uruguayan sculptor).  Also, from Argentinean sculptors Ernestina Azlor and Alcides Boledi. At present, is associated with �The Talking Hands Group of Sculptors� in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Sculpting media: clay, polymer, plaster, wax and bronze. Painting media: acrylic, pastel, watercolor, oil and alkyds.

1996 New York City, First Place in Sculpture, APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition, at the NYC Convention Center (sculpture presented: �Pampero, Wind from the Pampas�).
1997 San Diego, First Place in Sculpture, APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition, at the San Diego Convention Center (sculpture presented: �Tango in the 1900s�).
1998 Toronto, Canada, First Place in Sculpture, APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition, at the Toronto Convention Center (sculpture presented: �The Cala-lily Vendor of Havana�).
2000 Chicago, First Place in Sculpture at the McCormick Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition) with the sculpture �Cafetin de Buenos Aires.�
2001 New Orleans, First Place in Ceramic Arts, at the New Orleans Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), with the sculpture �Homage to Diego Rivera.�
2001 New Orleans, First Place in Sculpture, at the New Orleans Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), with the sculpture (relief) �Little Caf� II.�
2002 Philadelphia, First Place in Sculpture, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), for the sculpture �Wind from the Pampas.� This piece also received the award for the Best Piece in the Show.
2003 San Francisco, First Place in Sculpture, at the Moscone Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), for the sculpture �Pampero IV, Wind from the Pampas.�
2003 San Francisco, First Place in Ceramic Arts, at the Moscone Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), for the ceramic relief �Judith�.
2003 San Francisco, First Place in Painting Mixed Media, at the Moscone Convention Center (APA Arts Association Annual Exhibition), for the pastel painting �Amsterdam.�
2004 New york, Javits Convention Center, First Prize in Sculpture for the ceramic sculpture Tango for Ever. Second Prize in Watercolor for the paintig "Mirror"
