Headlands Center for the Arts presents:

The Welcoming: A Supper with For You Productions

Sunday, March 19, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sausalito CA

Join Headlands for The Welcoming, the first taste in a series of interactive performances by For You Productions, a collective founded by Bay Area Fellow Erika Chong Shuch, Ryan Tacata, and Rowena Richie. Since March 2020, in response to the isolation of the ongoing pandemic, For You Productions has been partnering with Little Brothers Friends for the Elderly (LBFE) to bring artists and elders together for creative exchange. Developing out of that ongoing work, The Welcoming presents an interactive performance paired with food inspired by the memories and imaginations of elders from the LBFE community. Following the performance, guests and Artists will gather for a family-style meal in the Mess Hall.

The Welcoming is a co-production of For You Productions and Headlands Center for the Arts, supported by Creative Capital, New England Foundation for the Arts, Rainin Foundation, and California Arts Council. For You is a fiscally sponsored project of Dancers' Group.

Headlands assesses Covid safety protocol on an ongoing basis and may require mask wearing indoors regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available on site. This event takes place primarily indoors and is accessible to people using mobility aids.

Headlands Center for the Arts' Bay Area Fellowship: Svane Family Foundation Inaugural Artists, is made possible with the generous support of the Svane Family Foundation.
