Tsungwei, Moo is an artist from Taiwan. She was an atist-in-residence at the Da-Dao Art Museum, Taiwan, in 2000. Her art works range include printmaking, painting, photography and ceramics.
Most of her art works are inspired by the beauty of nature and wild animals. She likes to painting and drawing outdoor in beautiful locations catching the sun light change fresh feeling on her canvas.
Her printmaking reflect the adventures of her life. The subjects of her artwork have been the natural environments of San Francisco, Yosemite, California and Taiwan. In her early career, she had passion worked in darkroom develop black and white photos to catch the important moments, and now she found the feeling back by doing printmaking.
" My art is not just something looks good for decoration function. I want it has its spirit inside. It can be the history we pass, the memory we lost, or even some experiences we never have chance to make it." says Moo.
