Anastasya Shevtsova has graduated summa cum laude from Surikov's art college in Krasnoyarsk in 2002. During her studies she has been awarded two times with the prestigious fellowship of the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation. In 1999, she has been awarded with Rausov's fellowship, and in 2000 has been awarded with Governor's prize for young fine artists.
Anastasya has graduated from Art Academy of St. Petersburg in 2003. She has been taught by such masters as Persikov, Pimenov, Blokhin, Lysak. Her graduation thesis was 'Maslenitsa' (Shrovetide).
This artist is an exceptional painter capable of expressing very subtle coloristic ideas.
