This is actually a painting in brush, pen and india ink on board. It belongs to a series of paintings about my beloved Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay Area. The boats are in reality portraits of our boat Tango moving in differet points of sail. The foreground is Ayala Cove where we had so many "asados" (barbecues) on sundays with friends. The background is the Tiburon Peninsula in Marin County. Who needs gasoline when you have the wonderful Pacific winds?
