This watercolor on clayboard, is part of the series ANGEL ISLAND.
This apparently tropical paradise can be experienced with just a quick sail across the Bay to Ayala Cove in Angel Island.
Our beautiful San Francisco Bay, has at least seven microclimates that can be visited at any given day; from windy and wavy by the Golden Gate and protected and quasi-tropical in Paradise Cove and Ayala Cove. For the last twelve years, we have sailed in the bay and almost every Sunday docked at Ayala Cove for a wonderful barbecue with friends.
