Once upon a time, we could all fly high, As birds we soared, up in the sky. But somehow, we lost our wings, And forgot the joy that flying brings.
Yet, deep inside, that memory still lingers, A forgotten dream, like dust on our fingers. If we but try to recall, We can soar with seagulls, and never fall.
For they have welcomed a girl into their flock, And with them, she takes flight and walks the walk. With every beat of their wings, She remembers the joy that flying brings.
So let us remember, and spread our wings, And soar with the birds, and all living things. For the world is a vast, beautiful place, And flying, like love, brings freedom and grace.
