The Everyday Warrior is an interpretation of the dual worlds in which African Americans shift to and from on a daily basis. This series has been inspired by my own life experiences as well as the 1903 publication, “The Souls of Black Folk” written by Dr. W.E.B. Du Bois. In this particular writing he expounds upon an extraordinary theory he named "Double Consciousness".
