1991 to Present
2nd impression 2011 woodcut print using 2 plates, each carved in a manner to maximize the cuts, color, and hand printing. both blocks are cut as a white line block. the second block gets additional cutting with awls, punches, and chisels to create the unique patterns and texture. Layering these 2 blocks will allow for a large contrast between colors. Each color is applied to the woodcut plates by hand painting, then hand pressing to Japanese mulberry paper. The finished printing process will take a few days to complete. Only a few copies are made each emphasizing a different color pattern.
