This expressionist sculpture was realized in polymer clay. It belonngs in the series 'Rose deconstructed' of the female body. It is also part of the artist's experimentation with different sculpture materials and media. Because of it's big dimensions it had to be fired in the kiln, albeit at very LOW temperatures.
