	I’m a mechanical-engineer by education and an artist by passion. I started painting in college to offset the engineering studies. My first oil paining took honorable mention at the Orange County Fair and I’ve been painting ever since. I paint portrait commissions and am painting a surreal series right now.

The Bride is my favorite watercolor portrait. I painted this from a photo that I took at the wedding of this bride. I feel it captures not only a special personal moment in her day but it also reveals her quiet personality. In my portraits I try to capture more than the likeness but also a narative about the person and the moment.
