Ronald Newman
Director
Ronald Newman is the owner and director of Market Street Gallery in San Francisco, CA.
The gallery, which has been in operation for over ten years at the corners of Market St. and Van Ness Ave. specializes in exhibiting visual art by emerging and mid-career artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. A native of the Bay Area, Newman is also a visual artist concentrating on painting and printmaking. He holds a BFA in painting in drawing from the California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC) in Oakland, CA., and has led many artist workshops in innovative printmaking techniques. He is known for his hands-on approach to working with emerging artists, often helping to initiate them into the arena of showing work professionally.
Says Newman of past shows he has curated: "For artists showing at the Market Street Gallery (some for the first time) the experience is a always a valuable one that carries into their future endeavors."

Mike Kimball
Mike Kimball is director of new business development for the MesArt organization.
Kimball, who has a background in graphic design and illustration, came to San Francisco as the art director of the San Francisco Business Times. He has lived in the San Francisco Bay area for over ten years and is originally from Albuquerque, NM.
Kimball holds a BFA degree in painting and drawing from the California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC) in Oakland, CA. and is currently studying business in San Francisco. Kimball's entreprenurial skills have led to the establishment of many micro-businesses that are a service to the visual arts community.
Says Kimball of this position: "My goal is to help artists become much more professional in their field and to ensure the success of the MesArt organization by working to create alliances with Bay Area businesses and arts organizations."
In addition to his work for the MesArt organization, Kimball paints and prints in his South-of-Market, San Francisco.studio and is an active member of the California Society of Printmakers.
