Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the Shasta County Arts Council are pleased to present
Shasta Open Studio Tour 2007, featuring the work of 40 artists, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14.

The Open Studio Tour gives both art lovers and art novices a chance to see some
of the North State's most talented artists at work in their studio environments,
and an opportunity to buy unique, local art. Participating artists work in a broad spectrum
of media, including painting, woodturning, drawing, photography, textiles, jewelry making
and glass.

A special exhibition of works by participating artists is being presented by the Shasta County
Arts Council in the Old City Hall Gallery, 1313 Market St., Redding, from September 26 through
October 27, 2007.

A "kick-off" reception will be held in the gallery on Friday, October 5, from 5 – 7 PM.
Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, and Saturday, 11 AM - 3 PM.

People interested in taking the self-guided tour can pick up free copies of the studio location
map at the Turtle Bay Visitor Center, 840 Auditorium Drive, Redding, or at the Arts Council's
office in Old City Hall, 1313 Market Street, Redding.
