San Francisco - Market Street Gallery is pleased to announce a call for entries for the Impressive Impressions, a juried exhibition of Bay Area printmakers.

  This exhibition will be hosted both virtually on the MesArt website at www.mesart.com/printmakersshow
and the actual artwork will be exhibited at
Market Street Gallery, 1554 Market St. in San Francisco from
November 27th through the December 22nd
with the opening reception to be held on
Friday December 8th from 6 pm to 9pm.

  Artists interested in participating can click here to go to the submission page. This exhibition will be juried from digital images of your work rather than slides.

Up to four works of art may be submitted per artist. All printmaking techniques accepted. No photography. Submissions must be digital images no larger than 500 pixels in width, resolution: 72dpi, size: up to 72K, jpg format.

There is a $15 entry free for submitting up to four images to the competition.
There is a discounted entry fee for artists who have a Mesart Portfolio, Artist Studio, and Artist Gallery account.

Entries may be submitted anytime between November 1st, 9am and November 14th at 5pm trough MesArt website.

When you have completed your submission your artworks will immediately appear on MesArt Virtual Gallery.

  IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

November 16, 5pm - Entry deadline.
Completed entry forms and fees must be received by Mesart.

November 20th, 5pm - Notification of Acceptance
Images of accepted artworks will be marked on MesArt Virtual Gallery website (www.mesart.com/holidayshow) and artists will receive the information by email.

November 21 - 26, 11am - 5pm - Delivery of accepted artworks
to Market Street Gallery, 1554 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 during gallery business hours.

December 8th, 6 - 9 pm - Opening Reception
at Market Street Gallery, 1554 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102

December 27th-29th, 11am-5pm - Pick up of unsold artwork from gallery, 1554 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 during normal business hours. If you are unable to pick up your artwork at that time, please phone the gallery and make arrangements.

  EXHIBITION REQUIREMENTS
All accepted works work must be framed under Plexiglas. All artworks must be securely wired on back, and ready for hanging, and shall not exceed 48"x48" size including frame.
Note: Market Street Gallery reserves the right to refuse accepted artwork that is not properly prepared for hanging or differs substantially from submitted image.

INSURANCE

Although every precaution will be taken by Market Street Gallery to assure the safety and security of accepted artwork, please be aware that artwork is submitted at your own risk as Market Street Gallery does not insure individual submitted artwork against theft or damage.

SALES
If your artwork is for sale please be sure that your sales price reflects the inclusion of a 50% commission taken by Market Street Gallery upon sale of artwork. Payment for sold artwork will be paid to the artist by Market Street Gallery within 14 days of close of exhibition. Artwork that is not for sale should be indicaited "NFS" in the price field.
