Biography Nadia Kosheleff-Browne was born in San Francisco California and grew up in the Bay Area. She currently resides in Chico California. Growing up in the countryside with creative and artistic parents encouraged her to embrace her imagination. She works in both sculpture and paintings.Primarily self-taught, her preferred materials are acrylic paint, colored pencil, air dry clay and papier mache. A love of both magical realism and science fiction have fed a lifelong love affair with alternate worlds and the creatures who inhabit them. Her work ranges from charming fantastical bird paintings to animal, human and plant hybrid sculptures. A love of color carries through both the paintings and sculptures giving the creations a vibrant presence. Her menagerie is intended to bring joy and delight to the viewer. |
