Vadim was born in 1961 in Novorossiysk. He lives in Moscow and works as a designer and illustrator for various printing houses: “Knizhni Dom” (Books’ House), “Rudomino,” “AST,” “Russki Yazik” (Russian Language), “Izobrazitelnoye Iskustvo” (Fine Arts), “Prosveschenie” (Education), “EXMO,” “Makhaon” (a series of fairy-tales for children), “Avanta +” (a popular multi-volume edition) and “Encyclopedia for Children,” which earned the UNESCO diploma.

     Vadim works in watercolors. His pictures are kept in private collections in USA, Norway, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.
