I was born in Russia, and lived there until I turned 27. About then I started to seek my spiritual path. Surprisingly for me I found it in ancient Vedic tradition of bhakti-yoga. I went to India to study this unlimited treasure. Spending there 6 month I felt absorbed in studying Vedic literature, learning traditions, making pilgrimages and gathering content for my art. Vision quest that I went through in India has seriously changed my life. Many of my paintings were inspired by this journey.
I came to United States in 2007 with desire to follow my spiritual path and share my inspiration with people who need it. With the help of my brush I’m trying to reflect in art spiritual practices, meditation, devotion, yoga, nature, and spiritual souls.
I reside in Marin County with my husband and 4 years old daughter where I learn so much from local artist community. My greatest inspirations and teachers are wonderfully talented local artist Barbara Lawrence and Chester Arnold who is my art teacher at the College of Marin.
