Christa creates her paintings and prints in a studio overlooking the bay in Sausalito, CA or by the ocean on the North Shore of Kauai.
Californian and Canadian, she is inspired by the natural beauty of the West coast. She went to high school in London and returned to receive a degree in English from UC Berkley. She pursued a publishing career in Toronto, New York and later back in the Bay Area. In between publishing jobs, Christa's curiosity kept her exploring and volunteering around the world. She documented her travels in journals and photography.
With over a decade of promoting publishers such as Phaidon Press and Laurence King, she gained a broad familiarity with contemporary art while developing her own painting and printmaking. In 2014 she started a gallery and studio at the Industrial Center Building in Sausalito to devote time solely to her art.
