Throughout high school and college, she was active in high diving and came to California to be part of the U. S. High diving Team, performing in shows at Magic Mountain and all over the world. She photographed the team frequently and was a freelance artist for the Santa Clarita Signal. It was her love of movement, action, and photography that all came together to forge her interest in film. Today, working in photography, clay and glass, she feels has brought her back to her original love of motion. She refers to her work as being driven by interpreting and freezing action and motion through hard materials while in their fluid forms as well as displaying and stopping motion in the two dimensional form in the medium of digital photography. |
