My drawing and painting abilities are a gift from God. I want to use my artwork as a way to minister to people. That is how I came up with the name Peace Art. So many times I have heard people state that when they look at my work they feel at "peace". There is nothing more beautiful than to know that something you have created has given someone peace...... Shanequa has sold several pieces, and has repeat collectors of her work. Her artwork has been displayed at clubs, churches, conferences and several exhibitions around the metro Atlanta area. A graduate from The Art Institute of Atlanta where she took Graphic Design and Fashion Marketing. She freelances as a graphic designer and also performs as a spoken word poet around the Atlanta area. Shanequa and her son Yasir currently reside on the outskirts of Riverdale, Georgia.
