I noticed one of my patrons wearing these fabulous red shoes. I'd been wanting to paint some red shoes and I asked her if I could borrow them, she graciously agreed to loan them to me. They were so much fun to paint and now I'd like to do a series on shoes, handbags and makeup. This piece seems to really resonate with everyone who sees it, it's one of my favorites. And now I'm eagerly eyeing my friends bags and shoes for future subject matter!
