My work deals with themes that are found in academic books, school halls, urban streets, television sets, teacher lounges, progressive families, barrios, college campuses, and in the conversations of close friends.
Lonchar is part of a study of "spanglish" and its use in urban latino areas. I have tried to use the work to deal with issues of language and identity.
