Cloisonne is a centuries-old technique that requires skilled artisans to arrange dozens of tiny cells on a brass surface, and layer by layer, fill-in the cells with a durable colored enamel, then fire to finish.
Gold-color edges are a beautiful contrast to the bright artwork found on each double-sided bead. Due to the handcrafted nature of the beads, size, shape and colors may vary.
A 38mm round Cloisonne Pendant is combined with 10mm Bronze Luster side beads and Gold Plated spacer and tube beads for the functional design.
The earring design uses 24mm round Cloisonne beads and Gold Plated spacer beads and fishhooks.
Each choker is custom-made to fit the wearer. To measure, use a length of string to lightly circle the neck at the position you wish the choker to rest, resulting in just a slight overlap of string at the back. Measure the string.
Some people prefer a high position on the neck, others a slightly lower one. Pick the position that best displays the choker and your clothing neckline.
When your order is complete, use the COMMENT section to send this measurement. The choker will then be created expressly for you.
