Because the chokers are made on memory wire, the curve and stability of the memory wire holds the choker in place to allow the magnetic clasps to attract one another. The magnets release with a little tug.
This Fire Crackle Agate (dyed/heated) pendant choker is highlighted with a 40x13mm faceted barrel combined with 14mm flat coins, 12mm, 8mm and 6mm rounds, Silver Plate tube beads and spacers over memory wire. The functional design includes a magnet for ease of closure.
Faceted fire crackle agate makes for sizzlin' hot style that's ablaze with possibility. Natural agate is dyed burnt umber, then heated to create the crackle effect. The white portions are a man-made, permanent surface additive that enhances contrast and crackle beauty.
The earrings were created with 14mm flat coins, 6mm rounds, Silver Plate spacers and fishhook ear wires over brass for the functional earring design.
The natural Gemstone colors may vary from piece to piece. Mother Nature provides a multitude of unique variations in her works. One block of stone will yield a wide mixture of colors and striations.
Extreme care will be taken in each individual design to select the most pleasing and coordinating Gemstones within each creation.
Each choker is custom-made to fit the wearer. To measure, use a length of string to lightly circle the neck at the position you wish the choker to rest, resulting in just a slight overlap of string at the back. Measure the string.
Some people prefer a high position on the neck, others a slightly lower one. Pick the position that best displays the choker and your clothing neckline.
