This Vernal Falls is my second version of this beautiful spot. I took the photograph before climbing the many steep stones to the top. I remember it as a gorgeous day.
This piece, one of 48 chosen from 696 submitted, has been juried into the Yosemite Renaissance XXVII show and will hang in the Yosemite Gallery from February 24 through May 2, 2012.
This work is watercolor with a small amount of acrylic on watercolor paper.
