Close observation of this top section of Breadbox reveals what appears to resemble the head of a lamb or sheep rising diagonally from the lower right corner. Further observation also reveals a small profile (3/4 view) of the head of Christ on the upper part of this top section. The upper head about 2" in on the top, with dark stripes revealing strands of hair, seems to be looking up, as if to Heaven. The lower "lamb" appears to be looking down, as if, at the observer. For me, the artist of this work, the miracle is that I never saw these two heads until the piece was finished and hanging in the gallery. I love the visual surprises that God gives us.
