Limited edition archival quality digital print. Image size 15" x 30" printed on 17" x 32" Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl 285 gsm paper.
This is view of a rock formation at Lake Powell in winters light as it is reflected in the texture of water and plant forms. The clouds are passing by in their ever changing guise. The balance between the foreground and the sky seems to imply a very like nature of transience surrounding seeming permanence.
There is a human quality to the seeming permanent forms which can catch the eye. Their is also an immense amount of detail and subtlety of texture in the rock forms.
This image is capable of being reproduced at 25" x 50" in a separate edition priced at $750.
The print presented here is a singular view and is available as an unframed limited edition print in either size mentioned above. The image of the piece being viewed includes a fascimile of a framed and matted finished piece which is also available for $1000. The overal dimensions are 39" high by 24" wide. The frame is weathered wood with a 3/4" face, double archival slight cream matte, and 1/8" UV plexiglass. The print is also archivally mounted on 4 ply museum board and spray finished with multiple layers of semi-matte UV protection.
