The Patent Trader March 21, 1986 "Half a Century of Anthony Toney at Nardin Fine Arts" by Abby Scher "Anthony Toney is a Katonah painter of no small repute. .... Mr. Toney's work is a form of realism that, as he puts it 'includes a conscious orchestration of a painting.' He is not just concerned with representation of a landscape or a figure, he said in a recent interview. ..." Photo: " 'Leatherman' by Anthony Toney is one of the paintings showing in a retrospective of his work opening on Sunday at Nardin Fine Arts in Cross River."
