One of my favorite places to photograph is Putah Creek. Near the little town of Winters a dam forms the creek into a small lake (Lake Solano) and near the southern shore of this lake are several snags. I usually put on waders and sit in the water among the reeds near those snags and wait for something to happen. This is one of the happy results.
