On an April evening in 2003 I visited the estuary at the mouth of the San Diego River. I expected to see and photograph shore birds on the mudflats that are present at low tide but instead I was treated to a display of the fishing prowess of an Osprey. I have many good images of this bird and my opinion as to which is best changes over time - this is the one I like the most at the moment.
