This is one of the many self-portraits in the artist's oeuvre. In the majority of his surrealist self-portraits, he shows himself as a disembodied head. In this print, the flip-top head and wiry cage of a torso may symbolize an open-mind and open heart. 1998 Linoleum Block Print. Hand carved & printed on Japanese Mulberry paper. Unframed.
