I had previously worked with reds and also with greens, so I next wanted to work with blues. Blue is calming, tranquil, and peaceful. I still used flowing lines but this time I used blended lines. I didn’t want harsh lines to dominate the smooth flowing blues. No frame is needed, the painting is continued on the side edges.
