For two decades, the artist Tomas Och has been fascinated by how we see. To put it another way, how do our eyes interpret stimuli from the outside world to make sense of the things around us?
To capture these images, a large canvas was stretched and painted to resemble a pattern found in nature. Then, a model was painted similarly and posed in front of the canvas. The event was then captured digitally and rendered here with minimal photo editing
