A current series of work. story... Early Tuesday afternoon July 4, 2006 the fire had grown to 11,000 hectares and had raced to about five kilometres north of the mining town of Tumbler Ridge, BC. That's where my grandparents live. I have visited twice since then. Seeing the burnt forest had a huge emotional impact on me...so I've started a series of paintings from my reference to share the experience. this is the 3rd....
