This conceptual piece is an expression of merged subject matter, both animal and machine together. The animal in this case, a swan and the machine being the inside of an old stem boat. In combining these two similarly functioning but unlikely melded objects, a new breed can exist in the minds of the viewers. Evolution has turned its wheels once again to add machine elements to nature to give nature a better chance for survival.
