	Some people know me as Jamie the Mermaid. My childhood ambition was to be an artist and a mermaid. Also, I appreciate having legs to explore mountains in my home state, Colorado, the hills of San Francisco, where I went to art school, and my current Berkeley abode.

The oil painting was done in 1981, the first of a series inspired by Johannes Kepler's theory that planets rotate in harmony to music. The giclee print on canvas, of which there is one so far, will be limited to an edition of ten. Both are currently unstretched. The price will increase by $175 if put on stretcher bars by the artist.
