	Born in Michigan and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Stacy is fortunate to come from an artistic family. She has studied both scientific illustration and printmaking through the UC system, local college classes and workshops. She currently works out of her studio in Santa Cruz, California.

Hundreds of cross-hatched lines were used to create the rich canopy of these stylized palm trees. A steel scribe was used to hand etch the lines in a zinc plate. Since the technique is so fragile only five prints were pulled from this plate.
