	Janet was born in southwest Missouri. She attended Missouri Southern State College in Joplin MO, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. Following graduation, she relocated to Kansas City MO where she currently resides. Since moving to Kansas City, Janet has shown her work both locally and regionally.

I saw the steeple of this church on the horizon as I drove along I-70 toward Columbia MO and took a moment to turn off the interstate for a closer look. The resulting piece's slight dimensions are intended to draw the viewer in to focus on this stunning piece of architecture that routinely goes unnoticed in its narrowly outlying locale.
