	While working as a lighting consultant for Andy Warhol at the Factory in New York Shelli began painting in her own loft on Greene Street in 1970. She has exhibited in Italy, Texas, Saudi Arabia and the Ukraine. She studied physics, mathematics and philosophy in college and has an M.A.

Reef is an Under the Sea scape. I was feeling adrift in the subconscious over the death of my mother (85 years old, died March 1, 2004) and of a good friend and boss (39 years old, two months after my mother's death). We all need to find that Reef.
