What's MesArt?

MesArt was founded by artists to bring art lovers and artists together in an online community and is a place at the crossroads of a gallery, a store, a marketplace, a community and a global network. MesArt is created and designed by artists for artists to advertise and promote their work and is the home of quality fine art, design and handmade original crafts, available for sale.

What are the benefits of signing up with MesArt?

The central benefit of signing up with MesArt is global exposure for the sale of your art. By helping you with advertising and selling at an international level, MesArt takes care of some of the business aspects of your profession so that you can concentrate on the creative side of your work. MesArt offers you a very effective Web presence, including e-commerce capability at the best rates available on the market today. In addition to this level of exposure, MesArt does not charge a commission fee if a work is sold directly through you. We take a 15% commission if you need our assistance for a given transaction.

What if I already have a Web site?

We designed two packages for people who already have a Web site. Sign up in the Lobby and use MesArt as an advertising medium, or choose to show more work and sell directly from the Showroom. In either case, you are catching MesArt's traffic and potential buyers who are then directed to your Web site. This is not only a great complement to your existing domain, but may extend the reach of your domain.

What other advantages can I get from signing up with you?

To MesArt's members we offer 10% off our regular rates on graphics design, our Web design, photography and CD business cards, and when appropriate will represent artists to interior designers and galleries.

How much does it cost?

The Lobby account is free.

The Showroom account costs $10 per month and enables the artist to display up to 45 artworks.

We have three payment options: Quarterly: $30 - credit card only Half-yearly: $60 - credit card/check/money order Yearly: $120 - credit card/check/money order

The Private Studio account includes a custom-built website and is $600 setup, $20 per month.

Who buys on MesArt?

Our clients are interior designers, designers, stores, galleries, corporations, and private collectors and the general art buying public.

How do you guarantee my privacy?

At MesArt, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We will not willingly disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

MesArt uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layers. MesArt treats data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by users inside and outside the company.

What do you sell?

MesArt showcases and sells only original, quality artwork and prints. MesArt also advertises and sells services offered by the designers, illustrators, muralists, sculptors, photographers listed in the Commercial Art section of the Web site.

How do I find the kind of artwork or service I'm interested in?

Click on "Search Tools" in the menu on the upper left side of the page. On the Search page you can look for works by theme (portraits, landscapes), keyword, style (Impressionism), technique, size, price, or artist.

How do I purchase artwork on MesArt?

When you see an image of an artwork that you like, you can click on it to see a larger image and additional information about the piece. While on this page, you can purchase the piece by clicking on "Purchase this artwork." If the artist's page doesn't offer the e-commerce option, you can contact them directly using their e-mail link or telephone number.
